For many years, video-game music has been written, conducted and performed to the aid of some of our favorite games, and for many years these songs have enlightened and excited many in the gaming community. Indeed, gaming as we know it would not be the same were it not for the melodious scores that go hand-in-hand with an airship taking off, or a koopa flying across the screen, or a zombie attacking. Although we may not "notice" it, it is always there.
Sound-Test hopes to take gamers' love of video-game music to the next level, by offering fans a chance to download all of their favorite tracks, view all of their favorite videos, and maybe even send in some stuff of their own. Why do we do it? Because we love video games and the music therein too. We're not in it for the money, we're in it because we're avid gamers just like you.
Why choose Sound-Test?
Sound-Test is built around an incredibly friendly community with the visitor's experience in mind. We have no intention of "accidentally" making you join some program so we get big bucks out of this, nor do we have any intention of withholding anything from you (unless lawyers get into it...we're afraid of lawyers), because, let's be honest, how can you enjoy some game music without the game music?
Unlike many other "multimedia sites" around, we will soon also offer full soundtracks, and already offer full music videos for video-game-music events (like Black Mages Live concerts), and of course a healthy dose of Fan-Made content. And to top that all off, we've even got an online radio station!
We realize that you have a number of choices if you're looking for video-game multimedia, and if you decide to stick with us, thank you. We're glad to have you with us, and hope you make many returns.
About the Site
Sound-Test.org was originally conceived in the summer of 2006 as a site that would offer nothing but Final Fantasy music. Since then, the idea--and indeed the site itself--has grown to what you see today. While Sound-Test is still relatively new at this point, it nonetheless offers a media database to rival that of many other "competitor" sites.
We at Sound-Test strive to always relay the finest quality multimedia to you, our visitor. Do you see a problem with what we have? Feel free to contact us and let us know.
About the Network
The UFF Network "began" in June of 2000, originally being only a Final Fantasy IX fan-site known as the Unofficial Final Fantasy (IX) Site. Over the years, the network has expanded to include RPG Site, Hyrule: The Land of Zelda, History of The Third Age and, of course, Sound-Test. In 2006, these sites came together to be known as as the "UFF Network".
The UFF Network strives to offer only the best in video-game information, multimedia and interactivity. With sites focusing on a number of different disciplines, this information, we hope, may be relayed to as many people as possible. And every day we continue to expand our network to bigger and better things. Feel free to look around, and we hope you enjoy what you see.
